Experience one of the Caribbean’s premier inshore fisheries, renowned for its year-round tarpon fishing in the crystal-clear waters of Southwest Puerto Rico. Beyond the legendary tarpon, anglers may have the opportunity to sight-cast to tailing bonefish, cruising barracudas, colorful boxfish, and the elusive permit. Every trip offers a unique blend of visual fishing, shallow-water excitement, and unforgettable moments in one of Puerto Rico’s most diverse fisheries.

REEF FISHING

REEF FISHING

Experience the excitement of visually targeting reef predators in the crystal-clear waters of Southwest Puerto Rico. Cast topwater lures and poppers to aggressive fish feeding over shallow reefs, watching explosive strikes unfold right before your eyes. When the fish move deeper, switch to slow pitch jigging to work the water column and target powerful reef and pelagic species holding along drop-offs, structure, and current lines. Combining visual fishing with modern jigging techniques, this fishery offers nonstop action across some of the Caribbean's most productive reefs.

DESTINATIONS

Discover the world-class fisheries of Southwest Puerto Rico, where we operate across some of the most productive waters in the Puerto Rican archipelago. From the pristine waters surrounding Coffin Island (Caja de Muertos) in Ponce to the legendary reefs and flats of La Parguera and Cabo Rojo the capital of inshore and reef fishing in Puerto Rico. This region offers unmatched diversity for anglers seeking a true Caribbean fishing experience.

Defined by dramatic underwater structure, coral reefs, offshore banks, and deep-water canyons, Southwest Puerto Rico is widely regarded as one of the island's premier fishing destinations. Few places in the Caribbean offer the opportunity to spend the morning trolling the deep canyons and offshore banks for blue marlin, wahoo, tuna, and mahi-mahi, then transition in the afternoon to crystal-clear flats where permit tail across shallow waters and sight-fishing opportunities come to life.

Whether you're exploring shallow flats, productive reefs, offshore banks, or the edge of the Caribbean Trench, Southwest Puerto Rico offers an extraordinary blend of fisheries found nowhere else in the region. From world-class inshore fishing to legendary offshore grounds, this is a destination built for anglers who want to experience the full diversity of Puerto Rico's waters.

The BOAT

Our classic 23’ SeaCraft is a proven fishing machine, purpose-built to fish the diverse waters of Puerto Rico. For more than a decade, this vessel has worked as a commercial fishing boat throughout the southwest region, specializing in deep-water reef fishing, offshore operations, and navigating the productive banks, canyons, and reefs that make Puerto Rico a world-class fishing destination.

Beyond commercial fishing, this SeaCraft has supported numerous marine research and conservation efforts, collaborating with NOAA Fisheries, reef conservation programs from the U.S. Virgin Islands, and scientific projects throughout the north, south, east, and west coasts of Puerto Rico. Its versatility and reliability have made it a trusted platform for fisheries research, coral reef monitoring, and marine data collection across the Caribbean.

Fully rigged for inshore fishing, reef fishing, offshore trolling, and deep dropping, the vessel is equipped with advanced Garmin electronics, sonar, GPS navigation, and fish-finding technology to help locate fish in every environment—from shallow flats and coral reefs to the deep canyons of the Caribbean Sea.

Whether you're sight-casting in crystal-clear water, working topwater lures over the reef, trolling for blue marlin and wahoo, or deep dropping for queen snapper along the trench, this SeaCraft is built to fish hard and provide an authentic Puerto Rican fishing experience backed by years of commercial and scientific service on the water.
